Buzz: Marlins wanted Bobby V

Joe Capozzi from the Palm Beach Post is reporting that Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria wanted to fire manager Fredi Gonzalez and replace him with Bobby Valentine as early as June.
According to Capozzi, Loria was in favor of this move after the Marlins went 9-20 in May, and that Valentine confirmed the offer was actually made.

Report: Bobby V Could Return to Japan in 2010

Ken Rosenthal from FoxSports.com is reporting that the Yokohama Bay Stars of the Japanese Central League are making a “concentrated effort” to hire Bobby Valentine as a coach.
