Ramon Castro is eligable to come off the disabled list today, but the Mets have decided to wait to activate him on Saturday, when rosters are eligible to expand to 40.
Castro has been out since Aug. 13 with a
lower back pain and will resume serving as Paul Lo Duca’s backup when he returns.
