Oliver Perez allowed three runs in five plus innings in a rehab start for triple-A Buffalo tonight.
Perez is expected to start against the Dodgers on Wednesday.
“I’ve got to take in what took place, see about his velocity and all,” Jerry Manuel said.

Yesterday, Jerry Manuel said John Maine and Oliver Perez will start in a doubleheader today for Single-A St. Lucie, and could possibly rejoin the Mets at some point next week.

News: Perez and Maine to Throw Off Mound

According to Bart Hubbuch in a post to Twitter, both John Maine and Oliver Perez are expected to throw off of a mound in Port St. Lucie later this week.
While there is still no timetable for Perez to return, Maine is expected to be back next week.
